During the Civil War winter of 1862-63, where was Fort Keyes located in Virginia?

GM

? ? ?

Named for Brig. Gen. Erasmus Keyes, commander of the IV Corps, Army of the Potomac, it was built on Gloucester Point on the York River, opposite Yorktown, and at various times was garrisoned by the 4th Delaware and the 169th Infantry, Pennsylvania Drafted Militia. The site can still be visited there today and is marked with a historical marker.
