Dacia. The Dacian Wars last from 101–102 CE and from 105–106 CE. The column comprises 29 marble drums, each 11 feet in diameter and averaging about 32 tons. Upon his death, the ashes of Trajan and his wife were interred in the pedestal in golden urns.
