New York City. Opposite a statue of George M. Cohan, Duffy’s statue stands on the north side of New York’s Times Square. After World War I, he served as pastor of the Holy Cross Church off Broadway. During his service, he was awarded the Distinguished Service Cross, the Distinguished Service Medal, the French Légion d’honneur and Croix de guerre, and the state of New York’s Conspicuous Service Cross.
