This was the original title of Charles Schulz’s beloved Peanuts comic strip.
- Charlie Brown and the Gang
- Kids at Play
- Li’l Folks
- The Barber’s Son
L’il Folks. Under that name it appeared weekly in the “St. Paul Pioneer Press” beginning in 1947 and in “The Saturday Evening Post” in 1948. In 1950, United Feature Syndicate purchased the strip and changed the name to Peanuts. Schulz never liked the name thinking it undignified.
