Charles Dawes who was vice-president under Calvin Coolidge from 1925-1929. Dawes shared the 1925 Nobel Peace Prize with Sir Austen Chamberlain. Dawes won for the Dawes Plan to provide economic relief for Germany after World War I. Chamberlain won for the Locarno Treaties whose purpose was to bring permanent peace to Europe.
