B-50, in 1949. The B-50 "Superfortress" was the successor bomber to the wartime B-29 and included many of the lessons learned during the war. With a cruising sped of 250 MPH it took the B-50 "Lucky Lady Two" just over 94 hours to complete the flight; the plane had to be refueled four times.
