"Plane Crazy." A silent short screen-tested on May 15, 1928, audiences were unimpressed by it and Walt Disney could not find a distributor. Following the success of "Steamboat Willie," released November 28, 1928, sound was added to "Plane Crazy" and it was released March 17, 1929.
