Dragoljub Mihajlovic. A veteran of the Balkan Wars and WWI, he organized resistance, primarily among Serbs, to the Axis invaders in 1941. In December he was promoted to general and made minister of war in June 1942. Under pressure from Josef Stalin, Allied support shifted to Tito. Mihajlovic, captured by communist guerrillas in 1946, was executed in Belgrade.
