A suicide bomb. Ignacy Hryniewiecki (Party name "Kitten") was a member of the anarchists’ terrorist organization "People’s Will." On March 13, 1881, Hryniewiecki and his fellows exploded a bomb near the czar. When the czar went to inspect the damage, Hryniewiecki approached Alexander with another bomb held in his hands, which he then detonated, mortally wounding both himself and the czar.
