Chetniks. After Germany invaded Yugoslavia Col. Draza Mihailovic led the Chetniks in their fight against the occupiers, in support of King Peter II. They were an irregular bunch, funded by the Allies until the latter decided to support the pro-Communist partisans of Josip Broz Tito. Once Tito took power, Mihailovic and the Chetniks were hunted down and executed for treason.
