This immense naval battle of the Russo-Swedish War resulted in a decisive Swedish victory, with the Russians losing 19 frigates, 16 galleys, and 16 smaller vessels, as well as 22 ships captured. A minimum of 7,400 Russians were killed, wounded or captured. Swedish losses were small: 300 killed or wounded, and one udema (a type of frigate) and five minor vessels lost.
