Benjamin Harrison. Less than 24 hours after Benjamin’s father, John, was buried in 1876, grave robbers struck. The elder Harrison’s body was later found by Benjamin’s brother John Jr. at a Cincinnati Medical College. After the discovery, the Harrisons contracted the Pinkerton Detective Agency to track down the perpetrators.
