The 25th Infantry Regiment. It was part of the 93rd Infantry Division, serving in the Pacific Theater in WWII and was deactivated in 1946. During its years on the American frontier it served in Texas, Dakota Territory, Minnesota and Montana. The 9th and 10th Cavalry, and the 24th Infantry are still active units in the American military.
