Bulgaria. Serbia, Romania and Albania were Allied powers that had fought against Bulgaria in the 1913 Second Balkan War. Bulgaria joined the side of the Central Powers on Oct. 15, 1915, when it declared war on Serbia. It left the war before the November armistice, signing the Armistice of Thessalonica on Sept. 29, 1918.
