On February 1, 1893, Thomas A. Edison finished work on this.
The first lightbulb

The first air conditioner
The first electro–magnet
The first motion picture studio
The world’s first motion picture studio was completed in West Orange, New Jersey, on February 1, 1893. Edison had the studio constructed to maintain public demand for motion pictures, which had been made possible through his invention of the Kinetoscope. The building that housed the studio was dubbed "the Black Maria" because it resembled police patrol wagons with that nickname.
