Felix Frankfurter. U.S. Supreme Court Justice Felix Frankfurter was born in Vienna, Austria on November 15, 1882. He came to the U.S. in 1894 and graduated from Harvard Law School in 1906. A close adviser to President Franklin Roosevelt, Frankfurter helped recruit personnel for the New Deal. He was appointed associate justice of the Supreme Court in 1939 and served until 1962. Frankfurter died on February 22, 1965.
