Bock’s Car. Named for its assigned pilot, Fred Bock, the B-29 bomber sported the name Bock’s Car. Actually piloted by Major Charles Sweeny, Bock’s Car dropped the second atomic bomb on Japan. The atomic blast, which flattened the city of Nagasaki, ultimately brought the war with Japan to an end.
