Outwardly, the B-2A Spirit, (preparing to take on fuel in this photo) resembles the earlier Northrop bombers, the wingspan is nearly identical. However, with the advances in technology, the Spirit is a wholly different aircraft than what Jack Northrop envisioned in 1943. (U.S. Air Force)
