Pedro Lascurain held the Presidency of Mexico for less than an hour. In 1913 Victoriano Huerta launched a coup against Francisco Madero. In the legal maneuvering that followed Madero’s ouster, Lascurain was made president just so he could resign in favor of Huerta.
