The Battle of Austerlitz saw Emperor Napoleon up against Russian Emperor Alexander I and Austrian Emperor Francis II. Outnumbered by his foes, Napoleon managed to inflict 15,000 casualties and capture 12,000 troops and 180 guns by encouraging his enemies to attack his weakened right flank while he concentrated his forces against the enemy center and right.
