Aztecs. The "flower wars" or "flowery wars" were low-intensity conflicts waged against neighboring city-states to capture human sacrifices for the god Huitzilopichti. There is disagreement as to whether or not these conflicts were arranged by mutual agreement, in order to satisfy the gods.
