      it was thought of even before slaves became free. it was a whole plot to kill about 6 or 7 political members. everyone chickened out and was arrested after except booth. he killed him and jumped off the balcony and broke his leg . later he was shot and killed in a barn.
      i read it in a book.

      Chex, that question is answered in Dr. Gerald Prokopowicz's book, Did Lincoln Own Slaves? He addressed dozens of questions he commonly heard when he was director of the Abraham Lincoln Museum in Fort Wayne, Indiana.

      4. William Wallace Lincoln, Robert Todd Lincoln, Edward Baker Lincoln, Tad Lincoln. Robert was the only child to live to adulthood and have children.

    No he had 4 children Robert Todd Lincoln, Edward Baker Lincoln, William Wallace Lincoln, and Tad Lincoln in that order Robert died at age 83, Edward died at age 4, William died at age 12 and Tad died at age 18.
