Awards and Honors - Weider History Group

Weider History Group strives to present its readers with the finest history magazines available today. Our greatest reward is the praise we hear from readers who write to say how much they enjoyed a particular article, image or layout.

Sometimes, our efforts are also noticed and honored by organizations devoted to a particular aspect of history or by our peers in the publishing world. Below you'll find a list of some of those accolades. Yes, it does make our day when we learn that something we've published is a finalist for or winner of some coveted award—but ultimately, the greatest honor we receive is the praise and continued support of you, our readers.

One Response to “Awards and Honors - Weider History Group”

  1. 1
    Gary L Reed says:

I recognize that this is not the proper spot for this response but could not locate an email for Wild West.

My wife bought me subscriptions for Wild West and Civil War times for Christmas. We both have gotten a great deal of enjoyment from them.

The article about Seth Eastman (April 2014) was very interesting, as were most of the articles. Probably you have received many notes correcting the location of Fort Snelling. Rather than at the confluence of the Mississippi and Missouri Rivers it was located at the confluence of the Mississippi and Minnesota Rivers.

Thank you for the excellent magazines you provide.

    Gary L Reed
