Dana Delany is not a Vietnam nurse, but she played one on TV. This award- winning documentary hosted by the China Beach star is no act, however. Its hard-hitting reality is brought home by intense interviews with eight real nurses and gripping film footage that puts their stories into stark focus. The Vietnam Women’s Memorial is marking its 15th year and this DVD adds deep dimension to the Vietnam nurses’ service and too-often-unsung sacrifice. A portion of the proceeds for the DVD goes to support the memorial in Washington, D.C.
