After serving 22 years in Search and Rescue operations, a Coast Guard Sikorsky HH-52A Seaguard was accessioned into the National Air and Space Museum. This is the first Coast Guard aircraft to be acquired by the NASM and marks the centennial of Coast Guard aviation.
