Few topics lend themselves to alternative history speculation like the possible invasion of Britain by the Germans in 1940. Talonsoft has used this subject as a vehicle for its latest West Front add-on, Operation Sea Lion. This historically enriched wargame lets players explore what might have happened if the Luftwaffe had won the Battle of Britain and Germany launched its planned invasion, code-named Seelöwe, or Sea Lion.
Eight of Operation Sea Lion’s 34 scenarios are devoted to the actual invasion, including airborne assaults and seizing of beachheads. These scenarios are complete in detail and concepts, giving armchair historians a feel for what might have happened had Adolf Hitler played his cards better.
