   NO! The UN do a pittiful job policing the countries they are sent to, The UN is unable to ban weapons, mines or terriorism. Even soverign nations would have a rough time in stopping smuggling of mines/weapons into a country.

   The only thing the UN is good at is shaking down the U.S.A. for money. That is mostly due to our really stupid politicians.
