About 1,500 gun owners gather at the Minnesota Capitol to protest against any new gun control laws. They oppose universal background checks on gun purchases. They oppose bans on any types of rifles, such as AR-15s or the types commonly referred to as assault rifles. They oppose restrictions on bump stocks which allow semi-automatic firearms to attain the firing speed of fully automatic firearms. They oppose restrictions on high-capacity ammunition magazines.
