My father Ralph G. Campoy was in the 101st Airborne Screaming Eagles. He is very proud of his service and shares his many stories with friends and family. He visits many schools and tells the students of his adventures in Holland and Belgian.
If anyone knows my father of Los Angeles, Ca. I'd like to hear from you.

Pvt Joe Mann was not killed by a sniper but fell on a grenade with both arms bound to his side from four previous wounds. The grenade mortally wounded him. He was post humously awarded the CMH for his heroism which included destroying an 88mm gun with a bazooka.

Recently learned that my dad, John Basil Hopkins, was assigned Battery A, 321st FA (GFAB - attached to 101st) when he was discharged 4 October 1945... 321st was deactivated 30 November 1945.
Any info, or possible links, regarding his unit/movements would be greatly appreciated. (I have plenty of time and motivation to sift through info)
