In the article it says "In 1887 the post office changed its name to Telluride to avoid confusion with a California town that no longer exists" This statement is very wrong. Columbia CA is alive!! Their is a post office, grocery store, bank, live theater, saloon, 3 restaurant, museums, elementary school (I went to), candy store (the best candy), hotel, court room.
