From what I have read concerning the history of the old west, the face to face "draw" was a myth and very rarely occured because most men were shot IN THE BACK!. It just goes to show a man can be as mean as a rattlesnake but be as cowardly as they come. I also can't help but wonder how many deadly altercations all through history to the present were fueled by "liquid courage". I would be the first to agree that Wild Bill was murdered in a cowardly manner.
