While he is detailed in his characterizations, they often seem one dimensional. Also, his assumptions and condemnation of entire groups of people make me annoyed the entire time I&#039;m reading one of his books.

I was a college student of the Charlotte Simmons generation, and we did nothing like the utter ridiculous acts that book makes it seem like all college students engage in.

The Bonfire of the Vanities made it&#039;s point. The Right Stuff was a great look at the space program; but how many people even knew that was a book?</description>
