    David Emery says:

2 Sep 31 BC – Battle of Actium. At least from a Western Civilization perspective, the rise of Augustus has to be considered to be one of the greatest (and frankly most surprising) events in history, with ramifications that continue well into the 3rd millennium.

I can't see Mark Anthony pulling together a Roman empire, nor would Cleopatra have been able to establish an Egyptian one, regardless of any attempts to rule together.

December 7- this was the most significant date in history beacuse it the day that the U.S. suffered from a japanese attack and we learned from it. Its also important beacuse that was how we got into WWII.
