With America so far into debt we are currently borrowing 60 cents for every dollar used. America needs to stop the spending and get our spending under control. If I was in a political office I would make the hard decision to stop all spending in all departments. And where are the government's JOBS TRANSITION PROGRAMS? ..or treatment for the vets who were raped? The veterans from Iraq and Afghanistan have paid - as much, if not a greater, price than our fathers - with nothing so much as a token thanks......well, no thanks. Our transportation infrastructure must be immediately rebuilt......AND parts of our nation repaired! We need another Franklin Roosevelt in the office of the presidency - and for our representatives to fund education - beyond high school. This refers to the obscene amount of debt for their education - the return o n this investment COULD be so great. The veterans of the current conflicts deserve the nation's help in reentering civil life. Jobs and medical care are important. Every nation that fights a war never really ends paying for it. Men and women disabled as a result of that service and the government pays pensions to will be a "continuing cost of war". From the beginning of this country's existence to the present war, men and women gave all, suffered all that the nation live. They and their survivors must be cared for.
