FRANCE seriously, when you look at the dark ages who kept all the roman science, architecture, and art forms alive for hundreds of years? And at the battle of tours in the 700s charles martel saved europe from an advancing muslim army that would have ended christian europe and the world as we know it would be extremely different. there would likely be no united states. and also, without france the US would never have won the revolutionary war.
