First I was operating a switchboard in the Macv compound at BanMe thuot In 1965 and 1966 In May i was on a telephone pole It let go at the base of the pole. I had to kick off the pole or land on pugestricks.. I landed onthe benchset cross way. from my left shoulder to right side of lower back. This happen because VC cut the bottom of the pole.and cut phone lines. I got hurt two time in line of duty.
