Samuri swords...they might be the coolest things ever invented right behind lucky rabbit feet. Some great films that have samuri swords are the movie "Samuri". Everytime i play ninja turtles i pick the guy with the samuri sword. I think that it is Donatello maybe?? Also, this one time i had a dream where i was in K-mart and i was being chased by the cookie monster and Ronald McDonald. Yea i know right, Creeeepy. So i ran to the samuri place and sciffed a sword. I slapped Ronald so hard that he almost turned straight. But the cookie monster however was more of a challenge. Him and i dueled it out for hours until he needed cookies. So we took a break and ate some cookies and milk. After we were done we fought some more. It was a good time but i ended up slapping him silly. Good times. Good times.

In addition, the appreciation of Japanese sword was developed from strength inspection of non-destruction.It is big defference compared to Damascus sword. And wave pattern on sword surface is made not only by forging but also by quenching.
And also beautful wavy pattern is controlled by raw material. So tamahagane is made by ancient steel making “tatara” which high-tech steel maker Hitachi Metals deal with.

Yasugi's tatara was called "Yasukuni tatara" before the end of the World War ?. Many soldier died with this steel sword by that war.And also authentic katana is made from raw materials made by tatara still now.
