Callum, HistoryNet is the Website for the world's largest publisher of history magazines. Our editors strive to insure the information you read in our publications and on this site is accurate. However, you should never use just one source for any sort of research. Different viewpoints can give different interpretations of events, new information may have been discovered, etc., but HistoryNet is certainly a great source for information on a wide range of historical topics.

Not a good example of historical research! The swamps, marshess, pits and caltrops are not supported by contemporary material, likewise the Scottish 'short' bows' and the 'conical helmets'. Scottish and Englsih soldiers - knights, speaermen and archers -were completely indistiguishable from one another.
