		<description>Europe didn&#039;t want to back slavery. England would have loved it if the north lost. Linclon&#039;s freeing the slaves in the south was done to stop europes support for the south. England had already stoped slavery, how could they support the south now?</description>

		<description>Jackson was the genius behind Lee.  Once Jackson was gone that was the end.  Had Jackson been at Gettysburg, Lee&#039;s discretionary orders would not have been taken as so by Jackson.  Early blew it.  Rebs never had a chance to &quot;win&quot; and they knew it.  All they could hope for was support from Europe who didn&#039;t want to back a loser.</description>

		<description>I had the honor of visiting&quot;Stonewall,s arm&quot; this past August. I have also been to the Cemetery, twice now. He and General Lee&#039;s picture hang on my wall.
I was delighted to see their pictures hanging in a Museum at Renfro Valley here in Kentucky
