I'd like to suggest a topic for Vietnam Magazine:
NSA Naval Hospital, DaNANG, Vietnam. This was a unique medical facility. We treated thousands of combat casualties. As a Navy Corpsman, I was there, Aug 67-Aug 68. My specialty was X-ray Tech. I also helped out in Receiving 1, and unloading casualties from the choppers.
Yes, I have pictures. A fellow Corpsman, Jim Rockett, who worked Receiving 1 at this time, lives near me. He also has valuable input.
Rarely have I seen anything in any media that details this part of that war. Yet many men are alive today because of this facility.
You can see some of my pictures of the Hospital on my Facebook page. It's time our story was told.
Thank you
