The Sturmgeschütz III, nicknamed StuG III, and the Panzerkampfwagen VI Tiger Ausführung E, nicknamed Tiger I, were two newly developed tanks engineered by the German military during World War II. The StuG III was the most produced German tank during the war. The over-engineered Tiger I was only produced from 1942-1944 when it was replaced by the Tiger II.
