I am in procession of a letter that was mailed by my uncle on the first flight of the Mars. I was wondering if it would be of interest to a museum. Any thoughts?

My first plane ride was at Lambert Field, St. Louis, MO in 1936 when I was five. It was in a Ford Tri-motor, and the pilot was Kenny Blank, a family friend.

My second plane ride was in 1948 in a Mars Flying Boat from San Diego to Alameda. I was en route from Boot Camp to Moffett Field NAS. It was quite an experience.

From there I served on the Berlin Airlift aa a flight mech in Navy VR-8.
