I stayed at the castle( mary Queen of Scotts Chamber) in the early 80's and met Helen Bailey. At the time she maintained a guest book for everyone to sign. I flipped back the pages, and there was Harry Chapins name. He was on tour, and some of his group rented the castle. I even played the grand piano they had in the Great Hall. It is not in the pictures today.

As for ghosts, we did experience and photographed the event from the balcony of the Great room - a shadow in the corner of the fireplace that moved.

There used to be a large portrait of Helen Bailey opposite the end of the fire place. She was a very interesting lady to meet.
