		<description>In High School, 60 years ago, one of the few books I read was&quot;Hell on Ice&quot;. I have never forgoten that book in all the years since. Although a week ago I would not have been able to tell wether it was about the North or South pole, I do remember the story and the horrible outcome of the expidition. It all came back when I watched the story on PBS TV. Any folks, young or old who enjoy reading true adventures would be kept locked to this one. I may even try the local library to see if it or something like it is still around.</description>
