[...] The demonized president, Herbert Hoover’s View “In the midst of this riot the District Commissioners, upon Glassford’s urging, appealed to me. They declared that they could not preserve order in the Capital, that the police were greatly outnumbered, and were being overwhelmed. With the same right of call on me as municipalities have on the governor of any state, they asked for military assistance to restore order. At my direction to Secretary of War Hurley, General Douglas MacArthur was directed to take charge. General Eisenhower (then Colonel [actually major]) was second in command. Without firing a shot or injuring a single person, they cleaned up the situation. Certain of my directions to the Secretary of War, however, were not carried out. Those directions limited action to seeing to it that the disturbing factions returned to their camps outside the business district. I did not wish them driven from their camps, as I proposed that the next day we would surround the camps and determine more accurately the number of Communists and ex-convicts among the marchers. Our military officers, however, having them on the move, pushed them outside the District of Columbia. I reviewed the incidents at once to the press, saying in conclusion: ‘Congress made provision for the return home of the so-called bonus marchers who have for many weeks been given every opportunity of free assembly, free speech and free petition to the Congress. Some 6,000 took advantage of this arrangement and have returned to their homes. An examination of a large number of names discloses the fact that a considerable part of those remaining are not veterans: many are communists and persons with criminal records. ‘The veterans amongst these numbers are no doubt unaware of the character of their companions and are being led into violence which no government can tolerate.” [...]

The treasury dept is another way of saying Andrew Mellon, and look up how he and other robber barons attempted to overthrow the US government. It is amazing how that this seemingly interesting point of American History was and is covered up too. I have a history and Political Science degree and was not taught this fact of a government overthrow, why?

Thomas Mellon, Andrews father was a graduate of University of Pittsburgh and the following year McArthur gave the commencement speech where three protesters caused the University to force a Loyalty Oath to be signed by all students, this policy was later adopted by Berkley years later.

The arm services has always been an instrument of wealth for oil barons interests. Senator Warner from Virginia was the Chairman of the Armed Services committee when we invaded Iraq and he was married to Andrew Mellon's grand daughter in 1957. It is all connected a hundred years later, I implore every American to connect the dots by following the money trail. We always learn about how devastating economic downturns effect people but we never learn of the predatory practices of those that gain great wealth at other peoples demise, why? Until we take back control of our country incidents like the bonus march will continue to undermine our democracy. America needs to wake up and realize that what is at stake is our freedoms which are guaranteed to us under the Bill of Rights and the Constitution of the United States. We get what we deserve when we act in an oblivious way by thinking in a secular and individualistic view point and that is what these rich thieves exploit. When we think community we all win and this is not a socialistic view point but that of Milton Hershey. Milton Hershey never laid off one worker during the great depression, How and Why? He did not use a broke economic policy of volunteerism which exploited cheap labor, why? He also banned alcohol and everyone had a similar house. Andrew mellon made millions off of whiskey and sought and succeeded in over turning the 19th amendment. If you keep people drunk they can not think clearly, and pay more taxes. Look up Mellon, DuPont, Ford, Brown Brothers, Prescot Bush, Andrew Carnegie, Henry Clay Frick and JP Morgan to learn how there influence are still felt today.

Douglas McArthur should have been Court Marshalled and put in Levinworth. He proved that many years later when he defied President Harry Truman in Korea. Then to add insult to injury, President Eisenhower gave McArthur back his commission, like nothing ever happened. What a total jerk! What he should have been was Court Marshaled! He was a disgrace to our nation!

It's interesting to see just how "sanitized" and shoved under the carpet all of this has become over the years. Some articles I've read don't even mention Mcarthur at all! Instead, the Government went looking for Comunists and Criminals. What a terrible reward for so many that defended our country, not to mention those who died doing it. In my eyes, McArthur was the real criminal!

Sincerely,
J.R. Stephen
