		<description>I agree fully with Butler&#039;s orders in New Orleans.  It has ALWAYS been my policy to treat all women as ladies, until they prove that they aren&#039;t.  If you want to be treated as a lady in New Orleans in 1862, then act like one.  You started the war and you lost, now you have to deal with our military running your cities.

		<description>If you mention Mumford, you should at least also mention that Ben Butler helped his widow several times in the years after the Civil War, helping her find secure employment after the clergyman who collected funds for her support mismanaged and/or absconded with the funds.</description>
