That little boy was actually a man of about 20. I was very surprised to learn he wasn't a child and before I knew his age I wondered how his father could have let him smoke at such a young age. Anyway it is an excellent doc and lets people know a little about what is going on there. I just hope the troops come home safe.

I would like to add as a marine that was in this battle with unit 3/10 artillery battery,we also served directly beside 1/6. The truth of the matter is that all marines are trained and capable to do any mission that is thrown at them and all marines will be faced with situations outside the "norm", although some units might receive citations and praise the important matter is that we are all one Corps. and as that Corps. we are the strongest most elite fighting force to grace this earth. Marjah was not a battle fought by one unit in any way shape or form and was not accomplished solely due to the actions of any one unit but as a whole.. It was a difficult battle for all involved and will forever embed itself into the memories of all Marines there during that operation

I don't know about 3/6 saving any bums... 1/6 held it down. U should look at the history of 1/6 & 3/6 if u really did have questions about what 1/6 did, that 3/6 didn't. 1/6 leads battles.. every deployment.

I think this documentary is great, however, it leaves out the BIG picture... which includes 3rd Batallion 6th Marines.. My husband deployed with them two years in a row and doesn't understand what 1/6 did that 3/6 didn't... Seeing as how 1/6 fell behind on schedule and 3/6 ran in to save their bums ;) Either way, ooooorah Marines!

I watched the documentary this morning and though I was very proud of our troops...it killed me to see that poor Mohammed had been beheaded...I cried for like an hour...I just can't believe that someone could be so cruel and have no care for human life to behead that little boy.

I just saw this documentary this morning and found it to be very sad of all the life that has been lost there. I was especially saddened to see the part that said that the 20 year old local Mohammed that was the size of a child had been beheaded.
