The article was very good, but I am trying to find out, what ever happened to jim bowie's knife? and crockett's rifle? Have they ever been found? or even pieces of them?

a friend of ours went to the U.S. for a visit to some friends that had just settled in batten rogue, they went to the Alamo, and being (welsh U.K). they said that the Welsh flag (green and white with a red dragon) was flying there, the information states that there was indeed one Welshman that fought and died at the Alamo. can you please confirm.

Finally someone who has listened to Alcalde Ruiz' casualty numbers and gets it right! Trans-Appalachians with long rifles behind fortifications were deadly as the British had found out earlier at New Orleans.
