I’d like to add a node to General George C. Kenney USAAF. As the air-boss for the SW Pacific, he (probably) had the least amount equipment to work with, yet his boys:
- Took out Admiral Yamamoto.
- Top scoring two US aces.
- Battle of Bismarck Sea (need I say more).

Admiral J.J. "Jocko" Clark USN – Jocko gives Halsey a run for his money, except that Clark was far more attentive to detail. He was one of the commanders warning Halsey about the typhoon.

It is about time the Corps' leaders get recognized for their superb combat leadership. I never, I repeat never, debate the leadership qualities of our Army, Navy, and Air Force, but there is another service of warriors who have superb combat leaders. These men are true Spartans.
