This battle at Zama, was one of the finest games of human chest as it relates to war ever waged on a battle field. Hannibal won so often, that Scipio was forced to study Hannibal's battle tactics and eventually adapted them to defeat his long time nemesis. The lesson to be had here is patience, experience, the right time and opportunity. The Great King of Israel Solomon, a man who once walked with God, said in Ecclesiastes chapter 9: 11-12 " THE RACE IS NOT TO THE SWIFT, NOR THE BATTLE TO THE STRONG, NEITHER YET BREAD TO THE WISE, NEITHER YET RICHES TO MEN OF UNDERSTANDING, NOR YET FAVOR TO MEN OF SKILL; BUT TIME AND CHANCE HAPPENETH TO THEM ALL. FOR MAN ALSO KNOWETH NOT HIS TIME: AS THE FISHES THAT ARE TAKEN IN AN EVIL NET, AND AS THE BIRDS THAT ARE CAUGHT IN THE SNARE; SO ARE THE SONS OF MEN SNARED IN AN EVIL TIME, WHEN IT FALLETH UPON THEM SUDDENLY." Never trust in your own strength, ability or wisdom, trust in the LORD AT ALL TIMES, JESUS CHRIST IS The Savior of the World and Mankind.
